More volunteers are needed for a revolutionary study into the effectiveness of online EMDR Therapy in the treatment of Single Incident Trauma and PTSD.
By participating in this Study, volunteers will be entitled to free access to the Virtual EMDR Therapy Program and may also receive guided therapy sessions with EMDR Therapists.
By volunteering your time for this important research, you in-turn will be helping other people who are struggling with symptoms of Trauma and PTSD.

The study is being led by Vancouver-based EMDR Therapists Robert Grigore and Valentina Chichiniova along with Jeff Tejcek, the Director of Communications for the Virtual EMDR Program.
When conducting a scientific study, the larger the sample size (the pool of volunteers), the more accurate the scientific data is at the conclusion. And while we are pleased and thankful for the great response we have had so far, we are delaying the anticipated start date of our study to make room for more participants to sign up.
JOIN THE STUDY
To join up, please click the SIGN UP button below or you may email us directly at customerservice@virtualemdr.com. We get a lot of emails, so when you contact us please be sure to mention that you are writing to participate in the Trauma Study.
The Trauma Treatment Study will focus on the effectiveness of both self-administered, at-home EMDR Therapy (like the Virtual EMDR Program), and also guided online therapy sessions with EMDR Therapists.
The results of the study will be published and peer-reviewed by the therapeutic community. This means that by participating you will be helping to find new ways to help others who are struggling with Trauma and PTSD symptoms.
Please note, not everyone who volunteers will be accepted for the study. Also we request that curious counselors and EMDR Therapists not try to sign up- they will not be accepted. This is not a place to get free EMDR Therapy. If you try to sign up only for free EMDR sessions, you will be asked to not participate.

After a traumatic event, some survivors experience symptoms like anxiety, unwanted or repeated thoughts about the event, social isolation, depression, anger, irritability, or even an increase in addictive behaviors like drinking or drug use.
Examples of single-incident trauma include:

I had a single incident trauma and I'm very interested in participating.
Hi Joanna. Absolutely 100%. But.....honestly I would need more details to better understand the background of what you are talking about. Can you drop us an email at customerservice@virtualemdr.com so we can open a dialogue about it.
Could this work for children adopted from foster care? I'm looking into EMDR, as talk-therapy hasn't helped. Thanks. I think we all need a session with what we've been through!
Hi Clint. Please read the article you are commenting on. It has sign-up instructions in it. Thanks!!
i would like to volunteer to participate in your single incident trauma study. thank you, clint williams
Hi Michelle. You can use Virtual EMDR for this now-it works quite well. Unfortunately we are not doing a C-PTSD study until next year.
Please let me know if you do a TRAUMA STUDY re: Complex PTSD. I would be interested in that. Thank you.
